Hello everyone,
I am excited to announce that submissions for the inaugural issue of Twyckenham Notes are now closed. I have read over one hundred poems from dozens of talented poets. A huge thank you to everyone who submitted their work for consideration. Without your submissions the inaugural issue would never have gotten off the ground.
What I now have are ten poems that I am excited to share with the world at large. There are some surprises here; some big names in the world of poetry, as well as some up-and-coming writers.
The goal from the beginning was always to publish what I believe to be great poetry. I am confident that the inaugural issue will set that kind of precedent. I hope you will agree once the issue goes live.
Until then, check out this TN Podcast, a reading of three poems by Joe Bolton:
In other news, submissions are now open for Issue Two of Twyckenham Notes. Submissions close August 31st at midnight with the issue being published in September. Find submission details here.
Thanks for reading and look for the release of Issue One in the coming days.
Best,
Austin Veldman
