CLAIRE (CLAIRETTE) DURAND-GASSELINIS is a French born artist, writer and book designer living in NYC. She studied Contemporary Arts and Science of Arts at La Sorbonne University. She works as an artist and writer, a French teacher, and the Artistic Director of Mad Gleam Press. Her practice initiates a creative wandering between visual and literary arts, to create work that explores and answer an oceanic feeling. She tries to embody the link between beings and their environment, through written and graphic languages.
